From the time she could chasse and shuffle, Tosha was dancing. She danced recreationally throughout her school years and college. She started her teaching career in the classroom but being as much of a wiggle worm as her students, Tosha began focusing on kinetic learning in children. Tosha taught at Bella Ballerina Northern Virginia for two years and then became lead teacher and manager of Bella Ballerina Herndon. In addition to education, Tosha has over ten years experience in the fitness industry as a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer. She stays current in dance education and recently completed Level 1 and Level 2 certification from Canada's National Academy of Dance Education. Tosha is involved in local theater and brings her love of performance to dance class. She attended the University of New Mexico and received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. She lives in Chattanooga with her husband and two dogs. "Bringing the Bella Ballerina experience to Chattanooga is a dream come true. I can't wait to get to know my students and dance!"
Rachel has been dancing since she was "bunny" age, focusing on ballet until the age of 14, and completing high school with an emphasis on modern dance and choreography. She kept dancing through her college-aged years with some study in hip hop and continuation in modern dance. Having started violin at the same time as ballet, Rachel simultaneously grew a love for music. Now as a musician and violin teacher, she loves to help little minds discover the relation between music and movement. She firmly believes that both are gifts and should be a joy to explore!
